The honorary President of the Ceahlaul football club, Gheorghe Stefan, registered the brand “Pinalty” – his nickname in football – with the State Office for Brands and Inventions.
Stefan was offered the nickname Pinalty many years ago, shortly after he became the manager of the Ceahlaul club as, each time a controversial situation occurred in the box of the adversary team during the matches, we used to request referees to grant a penalty kick for his team, with his unmistakable Moldavian accent.
The official of the football club in Piatra Neamt also expressed his conviction that Ceahlaul will return to League I this summer. “We cannot miss entering League I,” Pinalty outlined.
