“Open Gates’ Day” on Sunday, at Cotroceni Palace

The Presidential Administration organizes the “Open Gates’ Day” on Sunday, May 17, at the Cotroceni Palace.

According to the Presidency, the citizens may visit part of the Presidential Administration Halls, the National Cotroceni Museum and the Palace Gardens.

The Access to the Cotroceni Palace will be made by the Leu gate from the Geniului Blvd., based on an identity paper, and visiting hours will be from 9:00 to 21:00.

The Presidential Administration has organized the “Open Gates’ Day” at the Cotroceni Palace last year, on May 18, celebrating the passing of a year after the invalidation by referendum, on May 19, 2007, of the Parliament’s decision to suspend President Traian Basescu. Approximately 40,000 persons visited the Cotroceni Palace in 2008, according to estimations.
