Minister of economy, Adriean Videanu, pays today and tomorrow a visit to Russia, where he will meet with Gazprom management, the minister of energy and the minister of education and science, according to Mediafax. “The programme of the visit includes meetings with the minister of energy, Serghei Smatko, the minister of education and science, Andrei Fursenko, the chairman of the Russian party in the Romanian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on economic, technical and scientific collaboration, and Gazprom management,” the Ministry of Economy announced yesterday.
Videanu’s visit prepares the future session of the joint commission. “On this occasion, minister Videanu will analyze, together with his counterpart, the Russian minister of energy, Serghei Smatko, the stage of the projects of collaboration in the domain of energy, and the necessary approaches for the implementation of the respective projects,” reads the quoted press release.
The Romanian delegation to Russia will include representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry on SMEs, Trade and Business Environment, and of the companies from the domain of energy, Romgaz, Transgaz and Transelectrica.
