According to ‘7 Plus’ daily, Patriciu wants to launch a sports newspaper to bury “Gazeta Sporturilor”.
The daily “7 plus” disclosed yesterday the supposed intentions of the businessman Dinu Patriciu, the owner of Adevarul Holding. According to the quoted daily, specialized in scenarios and disclosures, Patriciu allegedly intends to attract 20 journalists, starting with the coordinating editor, from the tabloid “Libertatea” which belongs to Ringier trust, in order to integrate it in Adevarul Holding he owns. Apparently, Patriciu is repeating the same move he did when he bought “Averea”, turned afterwards into “Click” when many journalists from Libertatea were hired by the new publication. By launching “Click,” the businessman tried to destroy “Libertatea,” and now he continues the action by recruiting new employees of Ringier trust, “7 plus” reads.

Thus, Patriciu will continue his campaign of recruiting staff from “Gazeta Sporturilor” and “ProSport” willing to slap Voiculescu in the face and pinch the present supremacy that Intact owner holds in the domain of the sports publications,” the quoted publication adds.
As it has already been speculated in the Romania media, Dinu Patriciu has allegedly requested Dan Voiculescu some time ago to leave him the supremacy on the market of the good quality newspapers through “Adevarul” to the detriment of the daily “Jurnalul national” of Intact trust, but the boss Dan Voiculescu has allegedly refused. Wherefrom the furious campaign of the daily “Adevarul” against Dan Voiculescu lately and the attempt disclosed by “7 plus” to bury “Gazeta Sporturilor” by setting up a competitive journal which would recruit the main journalists of the latter.
