The eight cashiers at the Giurgiu-Ruse border crossing point arrested on bribery charges following a raid to their offices finding EUR 8,000 were released on bail with a 29-day ban on leaving town by the Giurgiu Tribunal Wednesday night. The eight cashiers were escorted by the police from court back to the Giurgiu Police lockups, waiting to be released soon.
