BCR Deputy CEO Oana Petrescu was elected as ‘Vice-President of ARB, replacing Petre Bunescu.

The bankers also decided to change the organisational structure of the Romanian Banks Association (ARB) by setting up an executive management to take over the tasks of the current Board.

Ghetea explained it would be so much better for a corps of executives to be able express bankers’ common views without generation tensions or competing interests. The resulting draft organisational chart will be debated by bankers and submitted to the ARB General Assembly for adoption.
