TV station Da Vinci Learning, launched on UPC

UPC announced the official launch of the educational TV station Da Vinci Learning in its digital network.
The new TV channel will provide education by means of entertainment. The channel is operated by the Da Vinci Media GmbH Company, owned by Ferdinand Habsburg, Managing Director for Da Vinci Learning. Dedicated to knowledge and science, Da Vinci Learning has programmes for the entire family, Ferdinand Habsburg said on Wednesday, at the launch of the new channel, at the National Museum of Maps and Old Books in Bucharest. The launch was also attended by cosmonaut Dumitru Dorin Prunariu. “Da Vinci Learning is a station that is useful for a family. It is a new and unique channel, as we believe in education and in the fascination of education. These things made us launch the channel, which is focused on education and on education by means of fun. (…) We spent many years searching for the best TV shows and therefore, the quality of our productions is exquisite,” Ferdinand of Habsburg declared.

The programme includes educational shows, focused on technology, engineering, biology, physics, mathematics, environmental sciences, chemistry, etc. The channel broadcasts 24 hours per day and is subtitled in Romanian.
