Turbo-folk with BalkanBeatz DJ at B’Estfest

This summer at B’Estfest (July 1 – 5), exotic Gypsy-Balkan style rhythms will be broadcasted by the channels of Silent Disco, energetically and passionately mixed by one of the most valuable Balkanbeatz DJ – DJ Tommi, the organizer Emag!c Entertainment announced.

On July 2, DJ Tommi will grant a spectacular start to the after-parties in Alto Arena, which will continue on July 3 and respectively 4, after the last concert of the day. On July 3, the guest DJ of Silent Disco will be Funkstar de Luxe, and the third name will be confirmed during the forthcoming few days. Famous for his turbo folk, Russian disco, ska, mestizo, polka stomp, Celtic folk, fun-punk, humpa and Arabian carnival influences mixed in a genuinely eclectic style, the Balkanbeatz project will send one of its top representatives to B’Estfest: DJ Tommi.

He has mastered some of the most glamorous parties in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and Munich, and is one of the favourite DJs of the Lowlands festival, where he annually mixes ever since 2004. Moreover, the professional history of BalkanBeatz also includes numerous shows beside bands such as Mala Vita, Gogol Bordello, Miss Platnum, The Cat Empire, Che Sudaka, as well as Shantel & Bukovina Club.

This summer’s edition of B’Estfest will take place during July 1 to 5 at the Romexpo Exhibition Centre. Some of the artists who confirmed the attendance to the festival are The Killers, Moby, Motorhead, Franz Ferdinand, Orbital, Santana and Manowar.
