Romanian boxer Jo Jo Dan will fight against Argentina’s Walter Sergio Gomez in order to keep the WBC Continental Americas and the NABA super-lightweight titles. The 12-round bout will be part of the ‘Invincibilii 4’ boxing gala hosted by Bucharest’s Giulesti Hall.

Ionut Ion (27), a.k.a. Jo Jo Dan, has won 24 bouts (13 thorough KO). Sergio Gomez (31), has a record of 19 wins, 7 defeats and a draw. For Jo Jo Dan, number 5 WBC and 7 WBA, this fight is his last ahead of a bout that will decide who the challenger of the WBA super-lightweight title will be. Jo Jo Dan will land in Romania on Friday at 4.30 PM on the Otopeni Airport. On Sunday he will hold a public training session within Baneasa Shopping Center alongside Viorel Simion and Bogdan Dinu who will also take part in the June 5 boxing gala.

Chris Ganescu promotes this gala through his Gankor Company, in collaboration with the Romanian Boxing Federation. Public access to the June 5 gala that will consist of 4 bouts will be free of charge.
