Romanian tennis player Victor Hanescu, top seed number 30, has defeated Russia’s Mihail Iujnii on Wednesday, score 7-5, 7-5, 7-5. Hanescu has thus qualified for Round 3 at the Roland-Garros, the second Grand Slam of the year. The game lasted 3 hours and one minute. By qualifying for Round 3 Hanescu has won a check of EUR 40,600. Hanescu is set to play against the winner of the game that pits France’s Gilles Simon, top seed number 7, against America’s Robert Kendrick. Victor has thus taken a beautiful requital after losing his Davis Cup game against Iujnii, score 2-3 in sets.
