UDMR meeting protest

UDMR executive vice president, Porcsalmi Balint, declared on Thursday, quoted by Mediafax, that the Union will organize on June 3 at Targu Mures a new meeting of protest against the changing of the directors from the deconcentrated institutions, over 15,000 persons being expected at the event which follows that from Harghita. According to the quoted source, over 20 directors of deconcentrated institutions have been changed in Mures County. In Covasna, UDMR representatives placed, also on Thursday, on the walls of the deconcentrated institutions from Sfantu Gheorghe and on the Prefecture black tables with “obituaries” written in the Magyar language, as a sign of protest UDMR organized also last Friday, at Miercurea Ciuc, a protest against the changing of the Magyar chiefs of the decentralized institutions, with the participation of thousands of persons.
