The Children’s Day, June 1, is an opportunity for the youngest of us to have a fair of their own. Therefore, a small fair will be opened on June 1 at the Romanian Peasant’s Museum, hosting toy exchanges, children’s workshops and a one-day exhibition. The fair will be opened from 10.00 to 18.00, in the yard of the museum and the Aquarium Hall. The small fair will include toys manufactured by artists and students or brought by children for exchange or for sale. The pottery workshops for children will be coordinated by Dumitru Constantin, a potter from Piscu, and by Monica Paduret. The handmade paper manufacturing workshop will be held by Razvan Supuran. The one-day exhibition “Interior Design: the Toys’ Shelves” (with pottery manufactured at Monica Paduret’s workshop) the paper library (including books written and drawn at the paper manufacturing class held by Razvan Supuran) the pieces of furniture painted or drawn, the useful fabrics may be visited in the Aquarium Hall.
The entrance fee is RON 2.
