Florin Prunea, the director of the Romanian Football Federation’s International Relations Department, and Cristian Minca, the President of FC Arges, arrived on Thursday morning at the headquarters of the National Anti-corruption Office (DNA) in Pitesti where they were heard again in the football corruption file.
Prunea arrived at the DNA headquarters in Pitesti at 8.45 AM, while Minca arrived 10 minutes later.
When entering the headquarters of DNA Pitesti Florin Prunea stated that he went there ‘to solve the problem’ and that he believed he would set the record straight.
‘I came here to settle this problem. I will probably solve it today,’ Prunea said. Cristian Minca, the president of FC Arges, made no statements. Also on Thursday morning Cornel Penescu, the financier of FC Arges, was taken from detention to DNA Pitesti where he was once again heard by the prosecutors and where he was most likely confronted with the statements made by Prunea and Minca.
Florin Prunea, Cristian Minca and Cornel Penescu were previously heard on May 14. Assistant referee Florin Stanescu was also heard on that date.
