Minor accidents settled amicably

As of July 1, the minor road accidents, involving only material damages, can be settled amicably, between the drivers of the involved vehicles, without the documents issued so far by the police. In the case of the amicable understanding, the insurance companies analyze the circumstances in which the accident takes place and establish who is guilty. The persons who will sign such a form will not pay fines and will not be taken away points, they will only pay the next year a bigger insurance police. If one of the drivers refuses to sign this amicable understanding form, the drivers involved in the accident are obliged to go to the police. The utilization of the form is not compulsory, it is only an alternative to the current procedure.
