Meteorologists issued a warning on Monday afternoon, referring to today and Wednesday morning for all mountain regions of the country, announcing the possibility of rain that could reach over 50 litres per square metre, the National Meteorology Agency (ANM) announced. During the interval of June 2, at 15.30 – June 3, at 9.00, heavy rainfalls are expected in Banat, Oltenia, Muntenia, Transylvania and Dobrudja. Especially in the hill and mountain areas of these regions, the water amount may exceed 20 – 25 litres per square metre and in certain areas, even 40 – 50 litres per square metre,” the warning mentioned.
