President urges Romanians to vote in Euro elections

President Traian Basescu urged Romanians on Wednesday to cast their votes at the European Elections of June 7. He said that, first of all, Romanians should attend the elections as a sign of respect for all the support granted by the EU to Romanians, and the support to be granted in the future. Voting at the European elections is not only a measure of affinity to the parties, but it also shows the maturity and attachment of the member states to the idea of European Election, the Head of the State said in a statement made at the Cotroceni Palace.
