Romania’s national football team continues to rank 28th in the national football teams’ world table published by the International Football Federation (FIFA), scoring 790 points. Lithuania has dropped one place now ranking 60th with 540 points. The two teams will play this Saturday in the World Cup 2010 preliminaries. Here are the ranks of the other teams that are part of preliminary Group 7: France – 10th with 1,067 pts; Serbia – 20th (+3) with 870 pts; Austria – 70th (+9) with 473 pts; the Faeroe Islands – 166th (-1) with 96 pts. Spain, the European title holder, continues to top the table with 1,761 points, followed by the Netherlands with 1,442 points.
