Branches with poor results at the Euro elections face tough reprimands

Parties have decided to punish severely those who lost in the Euro-elections. Thus, they look for those branch leaders who did not put, into the electoral basked, sufficient votes, according to Realitatea TV. At PNL Timis, the leading boards of 36 branches were dissolved. The Political Bureau of PNL Olt was also dissolved. The black list includes also other ten organizations, which scored less than ten per cent during the Euro – elections. Among the local organizations where the leading boards were dissolved, there are those from Slatina and Caracal, Ziua daily reports. PNL board has called the meeting of the National Executive Board tomorrow to apply the sanctions.


In case of PSD, there is no silence also. The party organization from Suceava village Preutesti was dissolved for ‘electoral betrayal’. At PSD Prahova, sanctions will follow. The local organizations which scored less than 15 per cent are targeted. In case of Constanta, also, there are problems with the organization’s leaders for not having sufficiently mobilized the electorate.


PSD board the leaders in the country will analyze the results, over the next days, within the Executive Committee to take place in Teleorman.


Also, according to “Cotidianul”, Liviu Dragnea asks for more powers because he won the most numerous votes, and Marian Vanghelie shall be pushed away from the leading position he had at Giurgiu and Ilfov branches, because of the poor results in elections.


In case of PDL, the beheading promised by the head of campaign, Vasile Blaga, are postponed. But ten PDL organizations, which are on the last positions, shall be coordinated by leaders from the center, for at least one year. The Democrat Liberal board has decided that the dismissal of heads of territorial branches are not appropriate within the context of the forthcoming presidential elections.
