Head coach Mircea Rednic stated for Mediafax that he had a meeting with Cristi Borcea, FC Dinamo’s executive president. During the meeting Rednic presented a list of transfers from and to the team, with the head coach set to find out in several days’ time whether his demands will be fulfilled and whether he will continue to coach Dinamo. ‘I continue to be Dinamo’s coach. There is a lot of stupid news lately about parting of ways and so on… I’ve just arrived in Romania, I’ve met with Cristi Borcea, I’ve talked with him for two and a half hours and he told me that I am still wanted at the team. I’ve told them what my wishes are, that I cannot have results with the current team; I’ve made a list with the players that have to leave and one with the players that I’d like to use,’ the head coach pointed out. ‘If they will fulfil these conditions then I will continue to coach the team. Now it’s up to them. I will meet with the shareholders once more in the following days and I believe that by Wednesday we will take a decision,’ Rednic said on Sunday. He said that he is willing to cede his place at the helm of the team to Cornel Dinu, the club’s current delegated manager, if the latter believes he can achieve results with the current team.
