Gaelic singer Duffy, famous for hits such as “Mercy” and “Warwick Avenue,” comes for the first time in Romania in order to perform this Friday, on the H2O beach of Mamaia, accompanied by 15 musicians and dancers. The preparations for the show have already started, and over 22 tonnes of lighting and sound equipment will be installed on the stage. All of the people interested in Duffy’s show will be granted free access on the beach of Mamaia. The artist will celebrate her 25th anniversary this Tuesday, no more than three days before the Romanian show. She gained international fame last year and won this year’s Grammy Award for the Best Pop Album and three other Brit Awards for Best Debut, Best Female Artist and Best British Artist. Duffy’s forthcoming show is part of the Orange PrePay Party series started in 2007, which have gathered over 60,000 viewers up to the present.
