The future will bring more numerous British investors in Romania, the Ambassador of Great Britain to Romania, Robin Barnett, declared yesterday, at the inauguration of the Financial Provident office from Targu Mures, Agerpres informs. “I am proud to be today in Targu Mures, at the opening of the new Provident Financial bureau which has already 100,000 clients in Romania and is an extremely responsible financial service. The fact that Provident Financial has opened a bureau here today is a demonstration that even if we are crossing a difficult period, the British investors continue to have a significant role in Romania. In your country we have around 4,000 companies now and I am sure that in the future we shall have more British investors in this area,” Ambassador said. Robin Barnett showed that he has come to Targu Mures to discuss with the local authorities about the specific opportunities from this region, especially that the Embassy has an active network to inform the potential British investors about the opportunities from the whole Romania. Provident Financial is a company specialized in granting consumer credits at home, and the clients can borrow between RON 400 and 2,500 over a period of up to 25 weeks. Provident Financial is one of the most important British companies present in Romania, with a tradition of 130 years.
