DIICOT took in custody 11 persons for forging cards

The prosecutors of the Division on investigation of organized crime and terrorism (DIICOT) raided yesterday simultaneously 15 domiciles from the counties of Bacau, Galati, and from Bucharest remanding 11 persons members of an international group of card fakers, Agerpres reports. European warrants of arrest were issued in the name of the 11 persons under the charges of affiliation to an organized offending group and perpetration of IT offences. The group used to operate in a quite new way.


The offenders entered at night the shops from Italy and the Netherlands, copied the identification data of the clients’ cards, and then forged them emptying the clients’ accounts.
