Painting by Pallady, auctioned for over RON 70,000

The work “Leafless Tree,” signed by Theodor Pallady, will be auctioned on Sunday by the Goldart House at the estimative price of RON 72,000, as the most expensive exhibit of this session. The painting is followed, in the order of the starting prices, by works such as “Still Life with Fruit and Book” by Eustatiu Stoenescu, estimated at RON 64,000, “Sea Landscape at Balcic” by Gheorghe Petrascu, at RON 57,000, “Houses on the Hill” by Francisc Sirato, at RON 34,000, “Still Life with Vases” by Jean Cheller, at RON 18,000, “Portrait of a Blond Girlie” by Dimitrie Berea, at RON 17,400, “Southern Landscape – Nice” by Francisc Gall, at RON 15,400, “Veiled Portrait” and “Flower Bowl,” both signed by Gheorghe Vanatoru, estimated at RON 13,000 each, Agerpres informs.
