Geoana: Economy on the right track next year

Social-Democrat leader and Senate Speaker Mircea Geoana told a press conference yesterday that Romania will go through tough financial and economic moments this autumn, especially in September and October, but that there are signs the country’s economy will get back on track as of next year. Geoana underlined that Romania must meet all conditions to receive the second installment of the loan from IMF and the European Commission on September 15, Agerpres reported. The PSD leader said the US economy will get back on its feet in the last three months of the year and that economic relief will follow in Europe, within the next nine months.
