ZZ TOP to perform in Romania

The bearded Texas-based musicians from ZZ Top will perform in Bucharest on October 20, the organizers announced, as quoted by Hot News. The event will be included in the “Double Down Live 2009” Tour. The event is organized by D & D Entertainment, in partnership with Marcel Avram. ZZ Top was founded in Texas (1970) and preserved the same lineup throughout the almost 40 years of their career. The band includes Billy Gibbons (vocals, guitar), Dusty Hill (bass guitar, vocals) and Frank Beard (drums and percussions).

The styles approached by ZZ Top are blues-rock, hard rock, southern rock and Texas blues. They won 24 platinum records throughout their career and sold 20 million copies of their albums only in the US. Some of the most appreciated chart breakers by ZZ Top are “Gimme All Your Lovin’”, “La Grange”, “Rough Boy” and “Tush.”
