A Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) ATM located in a store in Medias, Sibiu County, was broken yesterday morning. According to the police, a sum of approximately RON 100,000 was stolen. The initial investigations have led to the conclusion that several persons took part in the theft. The thieves broke into the store where they cut open the ATM and stole all the money. The police officers found only the empty ATM. The ATM had no CCTV and alarm system, with such a system being installed only for the shop. Another ATM was broken in Medias approximately 18 months ago.
