Vanghelie and Berceanu wrangle over Udrea

The war of words between the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) is going on. The leader of PSD Bucharest, Marian Vanghelie renewed his attack on Tourism Minister Elena Udrea, commenting on a statement by the head of state referring to the ‘dying Romania’. We live in a dying country accepted and created by a certain system, along with Ms. Udrea, the princess. All the scandal erupted in Romania since I got the princess upset. If all the scandal in Romania is due to a girl, if everything is about the relationship between President Traian Basescu and Mrs. Elena Udrea, then, we have a problem,’ Realitatea TV quoted Vanghelie as saying. President Basescu too was a target of Vanghelie’s criticism, who accused the head of state of demagogy. Vanghelie expressed the view that Romania is unwell not due to the PDL, but Traian Basescu. ‘All his discourse, all his campaign, since he ran for mayor, everywhere he went, he only created nuclei of interests he tried to get rid of later on,’ Vanghelie said. Transport Minister Radu Berceanu replied: ‘I don’t think of Elena Udrea day and night, since I have other problems and priorities on my mind, yet Vanghelie does since he is younger.’
