Traian Basescu (PDL) would be voted by 35 per cent of the voters, according to a CSOP opinion poll which shows the voting intention of the electorate. Second ranks Mircea Geoana (PSD) with 21 per cent, Realitatea TV informs. Third ranks Crin Antonescu with 15 per cent, followed by Sorin Oprescu, as independent candidate, with 11 per cent. Corneliu Vadim Tudor (PRM) would be voted by 10 per cent of the voters, and Prince Radu Duda by 3 per cent. The UDMR candidate Kelemen Hunor appears with 5 per cent.
In the event that Sorin Oprescu would candidate on behalf of PSD, the classification would be as follows: Traian Basescu – 36 per cent; Sorin Oprescu – 22 per cent; Crin Antonescu – 13 per cent; Corneliu Vadim Tudor – 12 per cent; Kelemen Hunor – 5 per cent; and Prince Radu Duda – 3 per cent.
According to the same CSOP opinion poll, the classification of the party would look as follows: PDL – 33 per cent, PSD+PC – 31 per cent, PNL – 16 per cent, PRM – 8 per cent, PNG – 6 per cent, UDMR – 6 per cent. The opinion poll was commissioned by PDL
