Radu Mazare has a new file at DNA. According to Mediafax, money from the budget of Constanta City Hall was given in exchange for positive news.
DNA prosecutors took action in the case of Constanta City Hall, headed by Radu Mazare, in connection with two contracts from public money, totaling EUR 800,000, concluded with Soti Cable Neptun for news about the City Hall. According to the same sources, further to reports which appeared in the media, DNA started to check the route of the money and the lawfulness of the publicity contracts concluded between Constanta City Hall and Soti Cable Neptun. Moreover, the prosecutors from the National Anticorruption Division requested the officials of Constanta City Hall to provide some clarifications, but they haven’t received any answer. The sources quoted by Mediafax stress that two contracts signed by the City Hall for image are at stake. In reply to the new scandal, Mazare yesterday told a press conference that the representatives of the Court of Accounts already verified the contract closed
