Timis: Inquiry into death of boy killed by plaster cardboard plates

The Timis General Department for Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC) and the County Police opened an investigation into the case of a three year-old boy who died after several plaster board plates fell onto him in a store while his parents were shopping.


According to early information supplied by the Police, the incident happened Monday afternoon in a Praktiker store in Timisoara.


The child’s parents bought some plaster cardboard plates which they loaded into a pushcart. At some point, the pushcart containing the plaster cardboard capsized and the plates fell onto the boy, who died Monday night into Tuesday morning following the impact.
