Composer Florin Bogardo passed away

Composer Florin Bogardo died on Saturday, and the “Matei Bals” Infectious Diseases Institute in Bucharest, after a long illness that aggravated lately, Agerpres announced. Florin Bogardo would have celebrated his 67th anniversary yesterday and was an acknowledged and appreciated Romanian musician and pop music composer, He also wrote the lyrics for his own songs and occasionally, he performed his own compositions, sometimes in duets with the artist Stela Enache, his wife.

The composer of the hit “Sa nu uitam nicicand sa iubim trandafirii” was born in Bucharest, in 1942, and graduated the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Conservatoire.
