Driver of microbus that caused tragedy in Scanteia passed away

The driver that caused the traffic accident in Scanteia passed away yesterday morning. Due to the impact, he suffered serious lesions of the internal organs, a femur fracture and a pelvis fracture, Antena 3 informs.

Thus, the balance of the victims will totalize 14 dead and two injured. Among the passengers of the microbus, there was also a ten-year-old child who died.

The health condition of the two injured continues to be critical.

The incident occurred on Friday, at approximately 14.00, near the railway station of the Scanteia locality, in Iasi County. The microbus traveling on the Iasi – Scanteia route had 16 passengers, and was hit by a train.
