Ploiesti: PSD asks for commission to check the “City Days” event

PSD Ploiesti asks for the establishment of a commission “following Udrea – Ridzi pattern” to control the manner based on which Ploiesti City Hall, led by Andrei Volosevici (PDL), spent more than RON 600,000 for the organization of “City Days”, according to Mediafax.

The interim leader of PSD Ploiesti municipal branch, Senator Daniel Savu, indicated yesterday, in a press conference, that in spite of the fact that all PSD counselors agreed with the allotment of RON 600,000 from the public budget for the organization of the city days, the Social–Democrats do not know how the money was spent, and nor do they know what is the total value of the revenues received as sponsorship for this event. According to Daniel Savu, the three local PSD counselors asked in writing Mayor Andrei Volosevici (PDL), based on law 544 on access to public interest information, data on the amounts spent for the organization of “Ploiesti City Days” but the Social–Democrats refer to the answer received from the City Hall as “mockery.”
