Films awarded with prizes at NexT, displayed at MTR

The films which were awarded NexT Trophy in time shall be displayed on Thursday evening at the New Cinema Hall of the Romanian Director at Museum of Romanian Peasant in the Capital, commemorating three years since the passing away of director Cristian Nemescu and sound designer Andrei Toncu, the organizers inform, cited by Mediafax. The program starts with “Cristi & Otto”, a four – minute film with images of the two and it ends with the medium reel film directed by Cristian Nemescu, “Marilena de la P7”. The films to be displayed as special broadcast are: “Il Supplente/Suplinitorul” (Replacement), by Andrea Jublin (Italy, 2006 – NexT 2007 Trophy), “Songes d’une femme de ménage (Dreams of a household lady) by Banu Akseki (Belgium, 2007 – NexT 2008 Trophy) and “Himmon / Imn” (Anthem) by Elad Keidan (Israel, 2008 – NexT 2009 Trophy). Prior to the display of the films, at 20.30, the audience is invited to a glass of wine in remembrance of the two, at Clubul Taranului (Club of the Peasant).
