UEFA: Dinamo lost game against Slovan 0-3, to play three games in empty stadium

On Tuesday UEFA’s Disciplinary Commission issued its ruling in the case of the incidents that occurred during the game that Dinamo played against Slovan Liberec in the first leg of the Europa League playoffs. Dinamo got away easily, losing the game 0-3 and set to pay a EUR 50,000 fine. Moreover, its next three home-side games in the European Cups will be played in an empty stadium.


The game was stopped in the 87th minute after several hundred fans tore down the fences of the enclosures and entered the pitch in a gesture of dissatisfaction with their team’s performance. At that moment the visiting side was two goals in the lead (2-0). Dinamo filed a complaint against the fans that caused the incidents. The complaint was filed to Police Precinct No.6, the latter opening investigation files against the fans that entered the pitch during Dinamo’s game against Slovan Liberec.
