FC Timisoara eliminated from Champions League, to play in Europa League

FC Timisoara was eliminated on Wednesday from the Champions League playoffs after losing against VfB Stuttgart (0-2 on aggregate) however the team will play in the Europa League groups. On Wednesday FC Timisoara finished its return leg against VfB Stuttgart in a draw (0-0). The game was refereed by an Italian team led by Roberto Rosetti who was assisted by Paolo Calcagno and Stefano Ayroldi. Gabriele Gava was the back-up referee.


FC Timisoara will next play in the Europa League groups. The draws will take place today.
