New Romanian-Hungarian joint cabinet meeting on October 10 in Bucharest

The fifth joint meeting of the Romanian and Hungarian Governments will be held in Bucharest, on October 10, with the agenda still to be agreed on by the representatives of the two cabinets, spokesperson Ioana Muntean informed.

On the agenda there will be bilateral agreements and normative acts needed for reaching the common objectives of the two countries with a view to their EU and NATO membership, and as actors interested in the development of a common regional policy primarily in the energy and transport sectors, the government official said.

The two governments in 2005 agreed to organise joint meetings addressing matters of bilateral interest every year. The latest joint cabinet meeting was in Szeged (Hungary), in October 2008.
