Romania wins two Silver Medals in World Rowing Championship

Romania’s W8+ boat won the Silver Medal in the World Rowing Championship in Poznan, Poland. The Romanian boat finished the race in 6 minutes, 6 seconds and 94 hundreds of a second. The US won the race with a time of 6 minutes, 5 seconds and 34 hundreds of a second, while the Netherlands finished on third (6 minutes, 7 seconds and 43 hundreds of a second). On Saturday Camelia Lupascu and Nicoleta Albu won the Silver Medal in the W2x 2,000-meter race. The Romanian boat finished the race in 7 minutes, 6 seconds and 64 hundreds of a second. The US team won the race.
