Guano Apes, Chicane and Stefan Banica jr. at Tuborg Green Fest

Produced by Emag!c, Tuborg Green Fest starts today and end on September 6, in the Izvor Park in Bucharest.


This year’s Tuborg Green Fest edition will feature famous international artists and numerous Romanian bands, providing the audience the genuine experience of a festival, by plenty of activities prepared especially for them by Tuborg.


Stefan Banica jr., The Herbaliser, The Crystal Method, Zdob & Zdub, Suie Paparude, Sensor, AB 4, Vita de Vie, Manding and Publik are some of the most famous musicians and bands to attend the festival.


Guano Apes is the headliner on Saturnday. The band has released six albums, and won two Golden Records and a Platinum Record. The band was founded in 1994, in Gottingen, Germany, at the initiative of Henning Rumenapp, Stefan Ude and Dennis Poschwatta, the lady singer Sandra Nasic joined the band the same year.


Chicane is the second headliner. Nicknamed “The Ibiza hymns’ parent,” Chicane is one of the most influential dance artists worldwide.


The program of the two opening days will also continue after 23.00, with the Silent Disco parties. After Gojira confirmed his appearance as Guest DJ on Friday, Seb seems to be the artist who will do the Silent Disco mix on Saturday.


Tuborg Green Fest starts at 16.00, the access to the festival is free. The access of the public will be granted by two entrances: one at the junction of B. P. Hasdeu Street and Natiunilor Unite Blvd., and the second from Splaiul Independentei, near the Izvor subway station. The public to Tuborg Green Fest 2009 must present a valid ID document (identity card, passport, etc.) The festival program may be downloaded from www.tuborg.ro.
