Breakfast with Madeleine Albright

Throughout time, the Aspen Institute Romania has hosted quite a few events of special significance. One of the most important has been the visit by former State Secretary in the Clinton administration Madeleine Albright, still a close friend of the Institute. She spoke about her book, “Memo to the President-elect” in the framework of a breakfast organized last year in Bucharest and was happy to take questions from members. Born in former Czechoslovakia, she also gave her thoughts on the changing nature of world affairs and the potential challenges for Romania and the region.
