Four hooded men, armed with pistols and swords, attacked on Monday the personnel of a jewelry and of a pawnbroker shop from the center of the city of Calarasi, stealing eight kg. of jewels. According to Calarasi police, on Monday, by 13.00 h., the men entered the room and hit the employee of the jewelry and the pawnbroker shop demanding him to give them the existing money and jewels, but in that moment the employee pushed the panic button. Then a few seconds later, the manager of the pawnbroker house appeared from a room at the back of the premises and fired at the four men with a pellet gun, injuring one of the men who dropped his gun. Immediately after the attack, the police officers set up road blocks to catch the attackers.
