Nicu Constantin, buried in ovations

Actor Nicu Constantin was buried on Saturday afternoon in Eforie Sud cemetery, in the presence of more than one hundred persons, the religious service being officiated by a group of priests led by Tomis Archbishop, His Holiness Teodosie. At the entry into the cemetery from the locality, the supporters of Rapid team displayed a banner where they wrote “Rapid fans will never forget you”, the actor being a huge supporter of the railway team. In the cemetery, actor Tudorel Filimon conveyed the farewell speech from the former theater colleagues of Nicu Constantin, and when the coffin was laid into the tomb, the over one hundred persons attending the ceremony started to applaud. The religious service was officiated by a group of priests led by Tomis Archbishop, His Holiness Teodosie. The coffin with the dead body of the actor reached the parent house in Eforie Sud on Saturday evening, around 11.45, being met by family, relatives, friends and locals who thus wanted to pay tribute to Nicu Constantin. The funerals were attended also by actor Jean Constantin, who said that he had many nice memories with Nicu Constantin, from the tours they had at the seaside. Nicu Constantin passed away on Tuesday following a heart attack after having been hospitalized for more than four months at Bucharest Military Emergency Clinical Hospital for severe lung suffering.
