Dan Petrescu, the head coach of Unirea Urziceni, said he has to come up with something special in the Champions League group game against Vfb Stuttgart if his team is to have a chance to win. The game will be played today starting at 9.45 PM (Romanian time) in Bucharest’s Steaua stadium.
‘We know what we have to do in this competition. It’s obvious that the opposing team is the favourite but we have to do better than we did in Seville. They didn’t defeat us by chance because after that they went on to defeat everyone in their championship. We have to help ourselves and to register the first Romanian victory in the Champions League’ Petrescu stated for ‘Gazeta Sporturilor.’
‘It will be very difficult to go up against the Germans; they don’t care a lot about how their opponents play. Their mentality is to focus on their own game,’ Unirea’s head coach stated, adding: ‘I hope to go beyond the group stage because we cannot have the 4th place in the group as our goal.’
