BCR BpL estimates 25 pc growth of contract value next year

BCR Banca pentru locuinte (BCR BpL) estimates for the next year a growth of 25 per cent of the total contractual value, to RON 3.5 bln, declared yesterday the vice president of the saving-crediting institution, Carmen Schuster, according to a press release remitted to the editorial office. The level predicted for this year had been RON 2.8 bln. “For the next year we intend to sign 105,000 new contracts and have a growth of the value of the contracts of at least 25 per cent vs. the level estimated for this year,” Schuster said in a press conference.

Presently, the bank has around 105,000 clients and intends to arrive at 130,000 clients at the end of the year.

Schuster pointed out that during July-September, the bank registered a growth over the estimated one, thanks to the clients who returned from abroad and made payments, even paying installments for the whole year. Now, the average value of a contract is RON 29,000, up from the level of RON 21,000 mentioned initially in the business plan.

Next year, the bank intends to turn towards the big market of the saving-crediting products, still not segmented, and make special offers for children, i.e. the parents who want to save for their children, for locative purposes.
