Uniqa Asigurari allocates EUR 4 M for new business concept

Uniqa Asigurari launched a new business concept yesterday, which will allow its employees and insurance brokers to develop their own business. The company counts on subscriptions of RON 85 M and intends to attract around 200 agents into its new partnership via this particular channel by 2012. The UniqaAgent concept will represent 20-25 per cent of the total Uniqa Asigurari subscriptions by the end of 2012, said Uniqa Asigurari national exclusive partners’ network Director Florin Calin.

‘In Romania, our intention is to invest approximately EUR 4 M in developing this channel over the next five years,’ said Uniqa Asigurari Vice-President Alfred Vlcek.

The Uniqa exclusive partners will be given logistic, marketing and training support by the company. Uniqa Asigurari will also meet the promotion expenses, as well as part of the venue and IT&C support, in the amount of EUR 25,000 for every new partner. The company will also provide training and know-how to the employees of its exclusive partners. ‘We hope the project will make an important contribution to the development of entrepreneurship and of the middle class. As far as we are concerned, it is also up to the large privately-owned companies, as they could also help smaller businesses grow,’ Vlcek said.
