Romania, second victory in women handball EC from 2010

The national women handball team of Romania defeated, on Saturday, the Swiss representative team, on the latter’s ground, by the score of 39-18 (20-7), in the second match from the preliminaries of the European Championship 2010. For the Romanian team, the fight with Switzerland appeared rather amicable, the lower value of the opponents requiring not a great effort from the players coached by Radu Voina, who afforded to use all the players in the attempt to find the best formula for the World Championship from December. In Zurich, Romania registered the second victory from the same number of matches played in group 1 of the preliminaries of EC 2010, after it defeated Portugal by 37-23, by the middle of the week. The Romanian players are leaders of the group with four points.
