610 exhibitors from 28 countries at TIB 2009

At the edition of this year of Bucharest International Technical Fair (TIB 2009), the 35th edition, over 610 exhibitors from 28 countries have announced their participation, a total surface of 18,000 sq m being allotted to them, Doru Simovici, general director Romexpo SA, told a press conference, Agerpres informs. The official pointed out that the edition of this year, which will take place during October 28-31, has an estimated internationalization degree of 52 per cent, Belarus and South Korea participating for the first time. Concurrently with TIB, at the exhibition complex from Piata Presei Libere in Bucharest, the 8th edition of Expo Petro Gas – an international exhibition of equipment and technologies for the extraction and processing of crude oil and natural gas – will be held, with the participation of 64 firms from four countries (Austria, Germany, Romania, Hungary) on a surface of 2,000 sq m. Other two events will be organized in collaboration with the National Scientific Research Authority (ANCS) – the Research Salon and Inventika, international exhibition of inventions, scientific research and new technologies. The access of the visitors during October 28-30 will be between 10-18, and on October 31 between 10-16. The access tickets cost RON 5, allowing the access to TIB, Expo Petro Gas, Research Salon and Inventika, and to any of the events organized by them.
