The Irish air company Aer Lingus introduced yesterday a new flight, Bucharest Otopeni – London Gatwick, according to the information remitted by the company to Agerpres. The flights on Bucharest-London route will have a daily frequency and promotional prices. Aer Lingus opened the base from London-Gatwick in April 2009, this being the second base outside Ireland, and registered at increased traffic thanks to the launching from the beginning of a number of eight routes operated with four aircrafts settled in Gatwick. The expansion of the national company of Ireland continues this winter with the introduction of new routes from London to Bucharest, Warsaw, Eindhoven, Vilnius, Tenerife and Lanzarote.
