Cold weather and snowfalls in upcoming days

The cold weather will return in the following days. The temperatures will register significant drops and the snowfalls will reappear in the mountain areas.


The rains will also get a hold over most of the country’s regions, with the temperatures set to continue dropping slightly in most of the regions so that the highs will range from 9 to 19 degrees Celsius and the lows will range from -2 to 8 degrees Celsius, Antena 3 informs.


Today the sky will be temporarily clouded. Rainfalls will be registered in limited areas in eastern, south-eastern and central regions and also in mountain areas. Sleet and snowfalls will be registered in the Eastern Carpathians. The wind speed will register hikes in eastern regions and at the mountain side. Starting on Thursday the weather will cool down and the sky will be mostly clouded. Local rainfalls, sleet and snowfalls will be registered in northern, north-western, central and southern regions.


The snowfalls will be registered in mountain areas. The highs will range from 7 to 17 degrees Celsius and the lows from -2 to 8 degrees Celsius. On Friday the weather will continue to cool down slightly in most of the country. The sky will be variable, with rainfalls set to be registered outside the Carpathian regions. Snowfalls will be registered in the mountain areas and mixed rainfalls will be registered in Moldavia.


The wind speed will register hikes in the mountain areas, in eastern and south-eastern regions. The highs will range from 5 to 13 degrees Celsius and the lows will range from -5 to 5 degrees Celsius.
