Vote for your favorite European film

Voting is still open on the European Film’s Academy website for the People’s Choice Award, allowing film fans to elect their favorite film. Winners in the past have included films like Pedro Almodóvar’s ‘Volver”, Roberto Benigni’s “ La Vita e Bella”, Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s “Amelie”, Peter Cattaneo’s “The Full Monty”. The European Film Academy unites 2,000 European film professionals with the common aim of promoting European film. Every year, the European Film Academy and EFA Productions present the European Film Awards – a celebration of the best in European cinema. Here is a list of this year’s nominees, while voting can be made on www.peopleschoiceaward.org: The Baader Meinhof Complex, directed by Uli Edel, Broken Embraces, directed by Pedro Almodóvar, Coco avant Chanel, directed by Anne Fontaine, The Dutchess, directed by Saul Dibb, Fly me to the moon, directed by Ben Stassen, The Girl with the dragon tattoo, directed by Niels Arden Oplev, Let the right one in, directed by Tomas Alfredson, Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle.
